Listen now | “Branding is the essence of what people expect, experience, and remember about you...” This is THE episode for the brand-curious and brand-phobic alike. Her masterful approach to ‘finding your magic’ and showcasing it might just turn what you think you know about branding on its head. Creators and writers all over the Substack-o-sphere can glean from her wisdom to tell and share their very best stories with confidence.
Aw thanks Fi! I feel Ive Found my visual groove in the gram and in my newsletter but it's only this past fortnight or so I've suddenly realised there's a whole visual side to the stack, too, and it's annoyingly context, as well as device specific!
Thanks for the podcast which I really enjoyed. I have done a couple of Fiona's seminars and bought her books. I highly recommend her website for lots of information.
Hi Ladies, Such wonderful podcasts. So connecting. I am at the early days of my substack journey. I have question and sorry if the info is already somewhere on your site. How do you record your three way conversations so its seamless and clear as if you are in the same room?
Hey Megan! Thanks for your lovely comment. We record all the files separately and our podcast editor Rory (Sara's hubby) does his magic and makes them sound amazing. If you have guests on your podcast I'd recommend asking them to wear headphones and record their audio separately to send to you later. Hope that helps! x
Hello! Sorry I missed this, sometimes Skype as the audio seems to be better, but often Zoom. Asking everyone to wear headphones makes the editing process so much better.
Sara saying "people who came to Substack just to write and then looking around and going, 'ahhh...'". I feel so seen. 😳
ha! Andrew you are SO on it with your beautiful visuals xx

A fabulous podcast - so many things to think about. I feel like I many offer too many free things but listening to you, I feel more relaxed about it.
Great podcast! 👏
Am totally onboard with the 2-day before deadline, that fresh look over it on the run-up to the actual deadline is so valuable! 👏🤓
So happy to hear it resonated! thank you xx
